Neutral mutation
Neutral mutations are changes in DNA sequence that are neither beneficial nor detrimental to the ability of an organism to survive and reproduce. In population genetics, mutations in which natural selection does not affect the spread of the mutation in a species are termed neutral mutations.

A neutral country is a state that is neutral towards belligerents in a specific war or holds itself as permanently neutral in all future conflicts (including avoiding entering into military alliances such as NATO or CSTO). As a type of non-combatant status, nationals of neutral countries enjoy protection under the law of war from belligerent actions to a greater extent than other non-combatants such as enemy civilians and prisoners of war.
Neutral theory of molecular evolution
  • right
THESIS THAT MOST EVOLUTIONARY CHANGES OCCUR AT THE MOLECULAR LEVEL, AND THAT MOST OF THE VARIATION WITHIN AND BETWEEN SPECIES ARE DUE TO RANDOM GENETIC DRIFT OF MUTANT ALLELES THAT ARE SELECTIVELY NEUTRAL
Neutral theory of evolution; Neutral allele theory; Neutral mutation theory; Neutral evolution; User:Lpjohns4/sandbox
The neutral theory of molecular evolution holds that most evolutionary changes occur at the molecular level, and most of the variation within and between species are due to random genetic drift of mutant alleles that are selectively neutral. The theory applies only for evolution at the molecular level, and is compatible with phenotypic evolution being shaped by natural selection as postulated by Charles Darwin.
Truly neutral particle
PARTICLE THAT IS ITS OWN ANTIPARTICLE BECAUSE ALL OF ITS GENERALIZED CHARGES ARE ZERO
Real neutral particle
In particle physics, a truly neutral particle is a subatomic particle that is its own antiparticle. In other words, it remains itself under the charge conjugation which replaces particles with their corresponding antiparticles.
Network-neutral data center
DATA CENTRE WHICH ALLOWS INTERCONNECTION BETWEEN MULTIPLE PROVIDERS
Carrier-neutral data center; Carrier-neutral data centre; Network-neutral data centre
A network-neutral data center (or carrier-neutral data center) is a data center (or carrier hotel) which allows interconnection between multiple telecommunication carriers and/or colocation providers. Network-neutral data centers exist all over the world and vary in size and power.

INDO-ISLAMIC ARCHITECTURE FROM 16TH TO 18TH CENTURY INDIA
Mughal Architecture; Moghul architecture; Akbar period architecture; Mughul Architecture
Mughal architecture is the type of Indo-Islamic architecture developed by the Mughals in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries throughout the ever-changing extent of their empire in the Indian subcontinent. It developed from the architectural styles of earlier Muslim dynasties in India and from Iranian and Central Asian architectural traditions, particularly Timurid architecture.
Architecture Neutral Distribution Format
PORTABLE BINARY APPLICATION CODE FORMAT
ANDF
<programming, operating system> (ANDF) An emerging OSF standard for software distribution. Programs are compiled into ANDF before distribution and executables are produced from it for the local target system. This allows software to be developed and distributed in a single version then installed on a variety of hardware. See also UNCOL. ["Architecture Neutral Distribution Format: A White Paper", Open Software Foundation, Nov 1990]. (1995-10-20)
Architecture Neutral Distribution Format
PORTABLE BINARY APPLICATION CODE FORMAT
ANDF
The Architecture Neutral Distribution Format (ANDF) in computing is a technology allowing common "shrink wrapped" binary application programs to be distributed for use on conformant Unix systems, translated to run on different underlying hardware platforms. ANDF was defined by the Open Software Foundation and was expected to be a "truly revolutionary technology that will significantly advance the cause of portability and open systems", but it was never widely adopted.

Neutral mutation

Neutral mutations are changes in DNA sequence that are neither beneficial nor detrimental to the ability of an organism to survive and reproduce. In population genetics, mutations in which natural selection does not affect the spread of the mutation in a species are termed neutral mutations. Neutral mutations that are inheritable and not linked to any genes under selection will be lost or will replace all other alleles of the gene. That loss or fixation of the gene proceeds based on random sampling known as genetic drift. A neutral mutation that is in linkage disequilibrium with other alleles that are under selection may proceed to loss or fixation via genetic hitchhiking and/or background selection.

While many mutations in a genome may decrease an organism’s ability to survive and reproduce, also known as fitness, those mutations are selected against and are not passed on to future generations. The most commonly-observed mutations that are detectable as variation in the genetic makeup of organisms and populations appear to have no visible effect on the fitness of individuals and are therefore neutral. The identification and study of neutral mutations has led to the development of the neutral theory of molecular evolution, which is an important and often-controversial theory that proposes that most molecular variation within and among species is essentially neutral and not acted on by selection. Neutral mutations are also the basis for using molecular clocks to identify such evolutionary events as speciation and adaptive or evolutionary radiations.
